Nine years of making finance click.

I'm Jeff — the tutor behind My MBA Tutor. I've spent nine-plus years teaching finance, accounting, and economics online, including as part-time adjunct faculty, and I tutor full-time now.

My own path ran straight through the material my students face. A BA in Economics from BYU, an MBA in Finance from William & Mary's Raymond A. Mason School of Business, a 99th-percentile GMAT, and CFA Level 1 and Series 65 both passed on the first attempt. Along the way I worked as a research assistant for a Harvard Finance PhD and taught for Veritas Prep and Stacy Blackman Consulting.

What I care about is the moment something clicks. I'm a calm, patient teacher who's good at spotting exactly what you're struggling with, showing you a cleaner way through it, and then handing you the wheel so the method becomes yours.

I've been fortunate to work with students at Stanford, Wharton, Kellogg, Booth, MIT, HBS, NYU, Columbia, IMD, and strong regional programs across the country and around the world — along with undergrads breaking into I-banking and professionals earning the CFA charter.

Today I'm building My MBA Tutor into a small, hand-picked team — so more students can get that same help. I only bring on tutors I'd put in front of my own students.
